You can earn eligibility to compete at the Amulis Awards in two ways:
First, provide a report from one of the major analyst firms (Gartner Magic Quadrant or a Forrester Wave, although we would accept a report from IDC, GigaOM, or others) dated within the last five years that includes the company/product.
If that is not possible, three verifiable customer references must be provided. They can be private and confidential to the Amulis Awards, but not anonymous.
These qualifications will be collected in the entry questionnaire.
Amulis Awards are constantly being created for new sectors. We strive to ensure that each category is specific and relevant to buyers’ pain points, addressing their areas of need, agnostic of the tech or strategy being employed by the vendor. This allows companies to position their solutions in ways that other awards can’t accommodate. Companies are of course welcome to enter multiple sectors and categories if their products compete in more than one arena.
The Amulis Awards do not isolate entrants based upon where the company is headquartered, the employee headcount, or when the company was established. Incumbents and startups, publicly-traded and bootstrapped, household names and freshly established companies all compete and deliver solutions to the global economy. The Amulis Awards recognizes that buyers debate the merits between products without these limitations, so we will facilitate that competition in our matchups. It is up to the entrant to decide whether to advance their position as an advantage while in debate.
The entry fee of $1450 USD includes all deliverables until three months after winner in the category is named.

The foundation of the Amulis Awards is a philosophy that the marketplace is inherently competitive. We have designed our program so that entrants engage in a head-to-head debate format, presenting their advantages, strategies, and philosophies, while shining light on what they do best, and what they believe to be their rivals’ shortcomings. It is a unique architecture for competition that invites respectful dialogue and provides meaningful insights to buyers.
The competition has several phases:
Pre-Compete – Marketing deliverables begin while we gather entries. This includes establishment of company profile pages for cross-reference and the organization of competition, so every entrant gets the chance to face off head-to-head with every other entrant in the category.
Challenge – In each head-to-head matchup, the entrant who joined the competition first gets to craft the first three questions of the debate! Both rivals must answer the questions, and we recommend tailoring the questions for each challenge, based on your positioning against the rival.
Response – Both entrants in each matchup must respond to all three of the challenge questions publicly.
Rebuttal – The second entrant gets to craft the next three questions. Strategic redirects and clarifications are key.
Second Response – Both entrants in each matchup must respond to the rebuttal questions publicly.
Closing Argument – Both entrants in each matchup gets to make a final statement in conclusion.
Judging – If our judging panel has any clarification questions, they may be requested publicly or privately. We score and rank each head-to-head matchup.
Finalists – Amulis Awards will announce and promote our selection of the top three entrants in each category.
Winners – There can only be one in each category!

Because of their scarcity, Amulis Awards carry significant desirability. Each category has a single winner, selected by an impartial judging committee on the basis of merit, not reputation. The content provided in the course of the debate rounds is analyzed and scored based on the clear communication of advantages and features as well as successful positioning via well-crafted questions. Because of the head-to-head nature of the format, there is a single trophy awarded in each category. We do not dilute the honor by granting multiple awards for honorable mention, ‘Editor’s Choice’, or any other vanity classifications.
